Featured in this lot is this Navajo Richard Singer sterling silver eagle pendant. The pendant features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver and turquoise construction that shows a swooping bald eagle with its claws outstretched and wings spread that shows a rough cut Sleeping Beauty cabochon set into he wing. The pendant is marked as follows: .925 - R Singer. Richard Singer is a skilled Navajo (Diné) jeweler, recognized for continuing the artistic legacy of his father, Tommy Singer, who was one of the most famous Navajo silversmiths. Richard Singer has built upon his father’s techniques, creating unique jewelry pieces that often reflect the traditional Navajo styles, such as intricate silverwork and the use of turquoise, coral, and other natural stones. The condition of this Navajo pendant is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows a good overall condition. The measurements of this pendant is 4 3/8" x 2 1/2" x 7/8". The collective weight of this pendant is 37.7g.
