For your consideration is this collection of Northern Pacific Railway, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway & Brotherhood Of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen ephemera circa. 1970-2016. This lot includes pins, key chains, and tokens from the various Railway companies. From the Brotherhood Of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen is a large pin, two smaller pins, and two key chains with BLET logos. One pin is a 5 years of work pin and the other decorative. One key chain celebrates the 150th Anniversary of BLET with the other being a decorative piece. The large pin reads, "BLET VOTE 2010" in red lettering. The BNSF items include two metal coins, three safety in the work place pins, four key chains and a plastic locomotive reverser handle. The two metal coins are safety service coins from the Twin Cities Division, Flood Recovery 2011, while the three pins are advising safety regulations with the first reading, "Heads Up, Eyes Down / Don't Put Your Feet Where Your Eyes Haven't Been / BNSF / Twin Cities", the second reading, "BNSF / Check The Route" and the last reading, "2016 / Employees Helping Employees". The key chains are all safety related, with two being the same reading, "Heads Up / Eyes Down / BNSF Railway" the largest one reading, "BNSF / Operation Stop / NO Drugs & Alcohol in the Workplace" and the last one reading, "Dilworth Terminal 500+ Days Injury Free". The last item from BNSF Railway is a yellow, plastic reverser handle. A reverser handle is an operating control for a railroad locomotive that is used to determine the direction of travel. The reverser usually has three positions: forward, reverse, and neutral. The last ephemera in this lot is a full box of vintage Northern Pacific Railway matches. It features the original box and shows 45 full matchbooks. All of the items in this lot show good condition with no signs of obvious damage with little to no wear present.
