Available for your bidding pleasure we have an original Occident Flour advertising sign from Butte, Montana. Occident Flour was produced by the Russell-Miller Milling Company in the mid west from 1894 to the early 1950s. The company was then sold to Peavey Company in 1962. This sign was used for advertisement in Butte, Montana. The sign displays a vibrant blue field with a red border. Written on the sign in red and off white is "Occident Flour Better Baking Guaranteed". The sign is also marked in the lower right corner "F-76". This sign displays good condition with vibrant colors and only a few minor tears around the edges. For auction, this sign is displayed shrink wrapped onto a firm backing. When purchased the firm backing will not come with the lot but the sign will be wrapped accordingly to preserve quality. The sign measures 2' X 5'. This is a paper banner.
