Featured in this lot are seven, original advertisement flyers for various events happening in The Occidental Hall and The Schieffelin Hall in Tombstone, Arizona in the 1890s. The first advertisement flyer is for the Youth's Minstrel Co. play at the Occidental Hall on Monday night, Nov. 14th, 1892. The second advertisement is for a a play taking place in the Schieffelin Hall on November 17th and 18th. The third is for a grand guitar concert by Prof. R. Millan at the Schieffelin Hall, May 19th, 1892 at 8:30 P.M. sharp. The fourth is a program paper and ticket for the Footlight Flashers playing at the Schieffelin Hall, complete with an orchestra and choir. The fifth flyer is for the Public School Entertainment at Schieffelin Hall which includes various choir and instrumental performances for 50 cents a ticket. The sixth is for an exhibition of music and singing by the great Edison's improved phonograph. The seventh and final advertisement flyer is for the "Partners For Life" play taking place at the Schieffelin Hall on November 29th, put on by Bijou Dramatic Company. Along with the flyer is an "Admit One" ticket for the play. The flyers show good condition overall with wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage are noted. The pieces measure from 10 3/8" L x 7 3/8" W to 2 1/4" L x 3 5/8" W. They have a collective weight of 14 ounces. Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona.
