This lot includes a Olaf Moller oil painting on canvas of a mountain landscape. Olaf Moller (1901- 1985) was born in Idaho and was known for his landscape, portrait, and mural paintings. He had studied under artists such as Henry McCarter, Daniel Garber, and Hugh Breckenridge. The painting shows part of the valley leading up to Jackson Lake with the Grand Teton Mountains taking up most of the background. The painting shows wonderful impressionistic art style while still showing much detail. The piece is signed in the bottom right hand corner, reading "Olaf Moller". The canvas is set in to a gold colored wood frame and shows good condition. The frame measures 30 1/2" wide by 28" tall by 2 1/4" thick.
