Offered in this lot we have a set of two engraved leather plaques. The pieces are made of thick treated leather, with black and white coloration along with the natural brown. The first of the plaques shows a man in front of a stone looking structure marked "Remember the Alamo - Sam Houston". The second shows a pioneer or trapper walking through the woods with a Native American hiding behind a tree and is marked "J. C. Fremont". The two plaques are in good condition overall with little to no signs of wear. The first measures 14 1/2" tall by 10" wide and the second measures 14 1/4" tall by 10" wide.
