Featured in this lot is this Pacific Northwest polychrome salmon drum circa 1960's. The drum features a wonderfully and professionally crafted stretched rawhide and wood frame with a polychrome painted salmon painted on the face of the drum. This drum would have been used for ceremonial purposes. The condition of this drum shows a preserved condition with one blemish on the back with a small tear in the stretched rawhide but otherwise is preserved. The measurements of this drum is 12 5/8" x 12 1/4" x 2 1/2". The collective weight of this drum is 8oz.
