For your consideration is this Persian Kilim (a weft faced plainweave technique) rug. The rug has a repeating geometric diamond pattern in burnt orange and brown, and it has orange fringe on both ends and a brown selvage on the sides. The rug is believed to date to the early 1900's; as such, it does have a couple of holes and snags, as shown in the photos. The rest of the rug is tightly woven; it measures 29" x 49.5".
