Featured in this lot is this 1916 "Pharmacopoeia of the United States, Ninth Decennial Revision" written by U.S. Pharmacopoeial Convention and published by P. Blakiston's Son & Company. The book serves as a comprehensive reference for drug standards in the United States. This edition continues the mission of ensuring the quality, purity, strength, and consistency of medicines available to the public. The document describes the official criteria for pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and medicinal preparations, including details on composition, strength, quality, and labeling.
