For your consideration is this Plains Indians polychrome painted Parfleche purse, circa 19th C. This is a good Parfleche purse with leather straps shown at the top, geometric patterns painted with mineral polychrome paint, and a naturally tanned hide. This purse shows seven large brass tacks on the other side of the polychrome painted side of the purse. The condition of this Parfleche purse is good, with wear consistent with age and some fading to the polychrome paint. The measurements of this purse are 12 1/4" x 11".
