Featured in this lot is this Plainview or Coastview Plano Lanceolate cluster point from the Transitional Paleo Period and aged from 10,000 - 9,000 B.P. This point features a small lanceolate point with flattened cross section and shows a slightly fluted base. The shoulders are rigid in sharp right angles and are knapped from a light grey to brown chert material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 2 1/4" x 5/8" x 1/4".
