Featured in this lot we have a rare large map of Bozeman Montana from 1912. The map shows the street and building layout of Bozeman circa 1912. The map shows each road in the city at the time as well as numbers off the blocks, as well as the names of any of the land owners. The piece was compiled and drawn from the official records and surveys conducted by C. M. Thorpe C.E. Bozeman, as stated on the map. The map is marked "City of Bozeman Montana 1912. - scale of 300 ft. to the inch" with a legend to the upper left and a compass on the right. This map is made of a canvas like paper with a wool backing. The piece shows good condition overall for its age with some water damage on the left side and some damage along the borders.
