The book contains a frontspiece portrait under tissue paper, maps of Livingstone's travels, and 31 illustrations. This book was published in 1875 by the R.W. Bliss & Company and is an abridged reprint of the original London edition. The book has reddish brown stamped cover with gilt decoration and gilt lettering/ decoration on the spine. This book is in good condition for its age, showing considerable wear and some foxing, but having a good spine. Hinges are rough, but intact. The book measures 6" x 9" x 1.5".
