Featured in this lot is this beautiful natural corundum Burmese ruby and diamond ring with AIGL paperwork and GIA Gemological Report. This ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted platinum construction with fourteen, genuine oval and square Burmese Rubies (Myanmar). The rubies were step cut with the oval rubies measuring 6 x 4mm and the square rubies measuring 4 x 4mm, giving a carat total weight of 5.93. They were heat with residues treatment, have a refractive index of 1.762 - 1.770 DR and a hardness of 9. The fifteen natural, round cut diamonds accenting the ring measure 1.7 - 2.0mm, show a clarity grade of VS2 - SI1, a color grade of G - H, a refractive index of 2.417, a hardness of 10 and a carat total weight of 0.34. The piece comes complete with AIGL Inc.(American International Gemological Laboratories, Inc. a GIA certified lab AIGL#: K27E88-EA20793) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $9,647.00. GIA Gemological Report number: 6237367625. The ring size is US 7 and weighs 6.24 grams.
