For your consideration is a Rare George III Butler's Mahogany Tray with locking drop down sides and Folding Stand, late 18th century. The Georgian era, marked by the reign of King George III from 1760 to 1820, left an indelible mark on the world of furniture and design. This exceptional antique English mahogany butler's tray on stand, has a rectangular tray with brass mounted hinge locking corners and openwork carved handles and all four gently curved sides drop down flat. The original wood slat design folding stand features slat stretchers as well. Tray and stand are in very nicely preserved condition, normal wear from use and age.
