Featured in this lot we have a rare Stevens Target model 10 single shot pistol. The Stevens Target model 10 was manufactured by Stevens between 1919 and ended production in 1933 with approximately 7,00 pistols manufactured. This particular pistol comes from the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This mid production model displays a 5 1/2" round barrel with the barrel and receiver measuring 8" overall, metal frame, and checkered plastic grips. This pistol features a single shot top break design with a pull pin action. The right side of the frame is marked with "TRADE MARK STEVENS REG. U.S. PAT. OFF & FGN" with the left side marked with "J STEVENS ARMS COMPANY CHICOPEE FALLS. MASS. U.S.A.". The bottom of the barrel is marked with "22-LONG RIFLE" with the top reading "Pat App'd For". This pistol shows a warm patina across the metal with a working and smooth top break and working pin mechanics. Overall this rare pistol shows fair condition with clear signs of wear, use, and handling. This pistol weighs 2lbs 4oz. Serial number: 3196. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
