Featured in this lot we have a Remington model 121 Fieldmaster slide action rifle chambered .22 short and Long Rifle caliber. The rifle was manufactured in August 1948 by Remington. This fieldmaster model displays a 24" long round barrel, walnut stock and slide grip, under barrel tube magazine, and adjustable rear sight. The barrel and frame display a blue finish across the exterior. The barrel is marked across the top reading "REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC. N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. PATENTS 1.481.638 - 1.628.548 - 1.682.704 .22 SHORT OR LONG RIFLE" with the side of the frame marked "REMINGTON REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. THE FIELDMASTER REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MODEL 121". Mechanically the rifle shows good working condition with a smooth action and crisp trigger. The rifle shows good condition overall with wear and light pitting across the exterior due to age and handling. The rifle weighs 5lbs 10oz. Serial Number: 109313. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
