Offered in this lot we have a Royal Leerdam frosted glass statue titled "Madonna and Child" on a pottery base with a light in it. The glass is cast in the image of a woman cradling a baby in her arms. The frosted glass statue is marked in the back, reading "G U S L" across the base. The base is a crematic construction painted black with a light installed in the base. The bottom of the lighted base is marked "Shibui Ware Japan" and originally had a globe set on top. The piece is in good condition overall with some light spots on the base. It measures 12" tall overall with a 5 1/2" diameter.
