Available for your bidding pleasure we have two signed Navajo Native American hand made vases circa 1970's- 1980's. The first vase shows a wonderful hand turned shape with hand painted and and etched designs across the surface of the piece. The etched design shows the image of a Turtle into the front of this vase. Surrounding the Turtle we see elaborate etch work covering the whole vase. The piece shows four sections of color being, teal, green, black and red. This piece is signed but the artist is unidentified. This vase shows good condition with one crack in the side of the pottery. It measures 5 1/2" tall, 4" in diameter at the widest point and 1 1/4" in diameter at the smallest point. The second vase shows a beautiful hand turned vase with etched design across the surface of the vase. The etched design shows a very simple classic design. This vase shows the natural color of the clay used to construct this piece. This Item shows good condition and is signed "Dean Reed" and measures 7 1/2" tall, 4 1/2" in diameter at the widest point and 1 3/4" in diameter at the smallest point.
