The lot features a Sioux Native American Indian beaded stone head war club. The club shows a wood haft which is covered in wolf rawhide and has a liniear section of corn yellow and dark red glass bead work. The gripping area shows a bit of red shroud trade clothe style and a drop of horse hair. The stone head shows a nice smooth hand carved surface and is secured to the club with a wrap of wolf parfleche which still shows some of the fur still attached. Overall the piece displays very well and is in good condition. The club measures 20 1/2" long and the head measures 3" long by 2 1/2" tall, with the horse hair tail measures 15" long.
