Featured in this lot we have a Spanish M1913 Mauser Rifle bayonet. The bayonet was designed to fit the 7mm M1916 Mauser short rifle as well as the 8mm Mauser M1943 short rifle. The bayonet displays a long single edge blade, guard with barrel loop, wood grips, and steel pommel attachment point. The blade is marked near the guard reading "Artilleria FCA Nacional Toledo" with a crown and crossed cannons armory mark. The right side of the blade is marked with a serial number. The wooden grips displays checkered designs with two screw pins. The bayonet shows good condition overall with some wear due to age and use. The blade measures 15 1/2" long with the bayonet measuring 20 1/2" long.
