This is an original Montana Territory Knives Bozeman, Montana knife showing a Rams Horn grip and forged Damascus trailing point knife. The blade has been forged from 1095HC (High Carbon) steel and 15N20 Nickel Carbon, which is then heated and folded into 396 layers, creating the astounding “Damascus” steel. The knife shows a wonderful ladder pattern Damascus. The hollow grind full tang blade has been paired with a set of Rams Horn premium grip scales, which are secured to the piece with two mosaic pins and lanyard loops. The knife also features a set of polished stainless-steel bolsters with a comfortable finger well. The tang has been artfully hand vine filled. The blade is marked with the “MONTANA TERRITORY KNIVES BOZEMAN MONTANA” stamping, which shows the outline of Montana. The knife has been paired with a leather, hand crafted sheath. The knife measures 9" long overall, with the blade being 4 1/4" long. The sheath and knife together measure 9 3/4" long.
