For your consideration is this split willow weave & leather fishing creel from the mid 20th century. This creel shows a beautiful split willow construction showing a tight weave throughout the entirety of the creel. It is accented and reinforced with beautifully stitched leather and features a snap pocket near the fish hole on the lid. The lid can be latched with a leather and metal buckle on the front of the creel. It features a shoulder strap and a small handle attached to the back for easy carrying. The creel us unmarked showing no brand or makers mark. It shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its age and use but no signs of damage is noted. Part of the handle is slightly broken. It measures 6" L x 14" W x 8 7/8" H and weighs 1 pound and 10 ounces.
