Featured in this lot is this 1926 reprint edition of, "The Teepee Book: The fiftieth Anniversary of the Custer Battle" by Herbert Coffeen. This book is the official publication for the fiftieth anniversary of the Custer Battle. The book contains biographical sketches, plates, portraits, a map, two paintings done by Charles Schreyvogel and a roster of committee in charge of the commemoration exercises fifty years later. The book shows a Native American man on horse back waving to a group of travelers or army group. It reads on the front cover, "The Teepee Book / Official Publication / The fiftieth Anniversary of the Custer Battle / National Custer Memorial Association 1876 1926". The book shows good condition overall with little wear present and no signs of damage noted. Pencil markings and writing present. The book measures 7 3/8" L x 5 1/4" W x 3/16" D and weighs under 6 ounces.
