Included in this lot is a Thompson/ Center Compass 6.5 Creedmoor bolt action rifle.The compass utilizes a 3-lug bolt design for a dependable lock up, while providing a 60 degree bolt lift to ensure fast, smooth cycling of the action. The lightweight synthetic stock has aluminum pillar bedding to provide a solid platform for the receiver while free floating the barrel for consistent accuracy. Contours and texturing on the stock provide a sure grip, and a rubber recoil pad minimizes felt recoil to keep you on target. The trigger is easily adjustable by the user to obtain preferred weight-of-pull with minimum over-travel. The Compass comes with a Thompson/ Center match grade barrel with 5R rifling that delivers precision accuracy. The drilled and tapped receiver comes with factory installed Weaver-style bases. A 3-position safety allows the rifle to be loaded and unloaded with the safety engaged. The Compass Centerfire bolt action rifle comes with a detachable, rotary magazine that fits flush with the stock to enhance ease of carry and shooting from multiple positions. This rifle is in like new condition with the original box and manuals. Serial Number: THY9628. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
