Featured in this lot is this collection of medicinal bottles found in Tombstone, Arizona (previously Arizona Territory) circa 1850's to 1890's and displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. There are four bottles in this collection, all found in Tombstone. The first is a full bottle of Glycern with a period correct label and the label reads as follows: Contents not over 1 fluid ounce - Glycerin - manufactured by Morris Drug Company Established 1823 Wholesale Druggists York, PA. The second bottle is the smallest with embossed lettering on the bottle of 'J55' and the label reads as follows: Spirit of Camphor 86% Alcohol - Dose: From five drops to a teaspoonful first added to sugar then mixed with water - Torbert Drug Co. Pharmacists 731 Main Street Bubuoue, Iowa. The third bottle is a square brown colored glass bottle that shows an embossed decoration of a stirring cup and reads as follows: Dickey - Pioneer 1856 - Chemist S.F. The last bottle is a Bruing cosmetic bottle called "Perfection Liquid" with the label reading as follows: Perfection Liquid - Bruing - Warranted Full Strength Reid - (rest is not legible). The condition of this collection of medicinal bottles is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage to the bottles with some wear to the labels consistent with age and exposure and shows only the Glycerin bottle full of solution.
