Featured in this lot are three, original advertisement flyers for various events happening in Tombstone, Arizona in the 1890s. The first is for the "Grand Republican Camp Fire" at Fitt's Old Store on Allen Street. The flyer reads, "Grand Republic Camp Fire At Fitt's Old Store Allen Street / To-night, Monday Nov. 7, 8 P.M. / Good Cheer! Good Time! Come Everybody! For Everybody!". The second flyer is for the "Statehood Mass Meeting" at Schieffelin Hall in Tombstone. The top reads, "Statehood Mass Meeting At Schieffelin Hall / Friday Evening, July 27th, at 8 o'clock". The meeting was to discuss and congratulate Marcus A. Smith's success in promoting the cause Statehood for Arizona. The third and final advertisement flyer is for the "Grand Fourth of July Celebration" held at Kimball's Grove near Fairbank, Arizona in 1893. It advertises food, drink and various activities throughout the day. The flyers show good condition overall with wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. One flyer has been repaired with newer paper towards the bottom. They measure from 11 3/4" L x 8 3/4" W to 10 3/8" L x 7 1/2" W. They weigh under 6 ounces.
