Offered in this lot is a collection of Yellowstone Park and Montana memorabilia. First in the lot is two felt pendents. A Yellow felt pendent with brown printing on it saying Yellowstone Park and the Image of "Rufus the ruined Bruin" Do Not Feed the Bears and a very mad bear holding a sign saying "unfair". The pendent is 26" long and 9" at its wide end. The next is a green felt pendent that says "Yellowstone Park" in cream print, and shows a red bear cub tied to a tree with a sign that says "No Hugging Allowed In The Park". This pendent is 18" long and 6" at its wide end. In 1960, Yellowstone park implemented a bear management program directed primarily at black bears and designed to reduce the number of bear-caused human injuries and property damages and to re-establish bears in a natural state. The plan included strictly prohibiting feeding of bears. The next item in the lot is a Yellowstone Kelly Indian Chewing Gum card. The card is #90 in a series of 192 cards. The card was in Indian Gum (1933-40) "The Worlds Greatest Penny Value" from Goudey Gum Co. 1919-1962 Boston. The front of the card has a picture of "Yellowstone Kelly" a boy soldier, scout, and hunter. On the back is the short story of Yellowstone Kelly's adventures. In 1959 a movie was made of Yellowstone Kelly'. Yellowstone (Luther) Kelly was played by Clint Walker. The card measures 2 3/8" X 2 7/8". This card is in very good condition for its age. Next is thirty four antique postcards from Yellowstone and Montana. Five of these cards have been used and five of the card are photo-postcards from the world famous Livingston Round-up Rodeo. The last item in the lot is a resin collectors bowl of Yellowstone Park. The bowl is in the style of a carved bowl with boughs and pinecones around the edge. The bowl shows a bear, the Great Falls, Old Faithful and Fishing Bridge. This collection is a Yellowstone / Montana lovers dream.
