Featured in this lot we have a Unmarked European double action constabulary revolver chambered in .38 caliber. The revolver is a smaller gunsmith made revolver from the early 1900's and is marked with only the letter C, serial number 1, and London proof mark showing a V with a crown. The revolver was used as a firearm for Constabulary. This revolver displays 3 3/4" long octagonal barrel, six shot cylinder, one piece checkered grips, double action trigger, and external safety. The frame shows a case hardened finish with the barrel and cylinder showing a faded blue'd finish. The revolver shows an external safety on the left side for the frame. The revolver shows good mechanics with a crisp double action trigger with good rotation on the cylinder. The grip is a one solid piece with checkered carved patterns across the exterior. The revolver shows good condition overall for its age with wear across the finish and minor rust and pitting across the exterior. The pistol weighs 1lbs 4oz. Serial Number: 1.
