Included in this lot is a Wards Western Field No. 47 .22 bolt action rifle. These rifles were manufactured by Mossberg & Sons under the model 45A. This No. 47 is chambered in .22 short, long and long rifle and utilizes a 24” round barrel with tubular magazine underneath. The top of the barrel is stamped “Wards Western Field No. 47 S-L-LR Pat. Pend.” The receiver is mounted with a Weaver B4 scope. The one piece hardwood stock shows good condition with light scratches. The firearm is in good overall condition. No serial number. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
