Featured in this lot we have a Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle chambered in .30-30 caliber. The John Browning designed Winchester 94 repeating carbine was popular far and wide, from Klondike gold seekers, Texas Rangers, cowboys, ranchers, big game hunters, and Mexican Revolutionaries alike. The famous design of this firearm stands the test of time, retaining a tight action, lock-up, and strong springs. The carbine utilizes a walnut butt-stock and fore-grip, showing a steel shotgun butt-plate, 20" round barrel with full tube magazine, and an adjustable rear buckhorn sight. The carbine is marked "Winchester- Trade Mark - Model 94 – 30-30 Win – Winchester Proof Steel" on the left of the barrel. Overall, the carbine shows good condition, retaining good blueing on the barrel, and much of the receiver, while the walnut parts show typical handling marks free of cracking, and displaying tight metal to wood contact. The rifle shows good condition with smooth mechanical condition. The rifle weighs 6lbs 6oz. Serial Number: 2926506. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
