This is an original set of 20th-century M & Son Winnemucca, Nevada Gal-Leg silver mounted spurs with tooled spur straps with sterling silver concho spots. The set are stamped, one spur “M & SON” and the other “WINNEMUCA”. The spurs have a Gal Leg shank with silver mounted gal-leg boot that is engraved with silver mounted overlaid GGB engraved initials with engraved border. The spurs straps show a carved tooled large leather and are stamped, “Classic Old West Styles Makers El Paso, TX” and each has a large 2.5-inch diameter domed silver concho / concha spot that are stamped, “STERLING” and “WK” in an oval. The conchos show three high relief repousse horse heads on a Western hand engraved background with a scalloped edge and twelve silver raised spots. Truly a beautiful set of custom made Gal-Leg spurs with silver mounting, carved tooled leather and large silver concho spots. Measures overall 10-inches long from the rowel to the back of the spur straps by 5-inches wide.
