The lot features a human figural face ball head war club with spike front in the pattern of the Great Lakes Woodlands Iroquois. The club exhibits a solid wood one piece construction with carved human warrior face with the iron metla arrow point blade protruding from the faces mouth. The ball head has carved facial features including ears, eyes, brow, lips and ears which have been pierced. One ear is pierced with classic early Native American style earring. The top of the ball has a mohawk of fur glued on. The club is inlaid with eighteen (18) plugs of pewter lead. Below the inlays is a section of hand cut checkering and below that a carved grip area with incised design. There is a hand drilled pierced drop at the bottom. The arrow point has a median thick body running down both sides and an engraved striated design. The club is from the 20th-century and is in a classic Woodlands Great Lakes Iroquois pattern, but exact origin is unknown. Measures overall 20.5-inches long by 5.5-inches wide. The blade protrudes 2 3/8-inches. The ball is approx. 3.25" by 3" by 3".
