Included in this lot we have a World War II trench fighting knife with a dogs head pommel. The knife shows a simple single edge steel blade. The handle is constructed of aluminum and horn with steel pins. The pommel of the knife is shaped into the likeness of a dogs head. The knife is marked near the guard reading "1938","44", and "0" in different sections. The piece shows good condition overall with some wear indicative of age.
