Featured in this lot we have a World War 2 Nazi Germany officers lion head sword with swastika. The sword was used by Nazi officers as part of parade and ceremonial dress and was not intended for combat use. The sword is made of a stainless steel blade with a ornate gold painted aluminum guard and pommel along with a steel scabbard. The sword shows ornate designs across the guard and handle with the pommel in the shape of a lions head with ruby eyes. The side of the guard features the embossed image of an eagle carrying a swastika with the other side of the guard being blank. The blade is marked "Original Eickhorn Solingen". The piece is in good condition overall with some wear on the grip, pommel, and guard. The scabbard shows most of its original black color with some spots of wear and rust.
