Featured in this lot is this olla pottery vessel called "Apache Mountain Spirit Dance," by Zia Pueblo artist Sofia and Rafael Medina circa 1980's. The pottery vessel features a wonderfully and professionally crafted ceramic construction that features a beautiful white field that features finely painted dancing figures on all four sides of the pottery vessel all in ceremonial garments and dancing in characteristic consistent with a spirit dance. The pottery vessel is marked on the bottom: "Apache Mountain Spirit Dance" - Pottery Sofia Medina - Decorator Rafael Medina. The condition of this olla pottery vessel is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this olla pottery vessel is 2 3/4" x 3 1/4" x 3 1/4".
