Featured in this lot is this 5 3/4" 3/4 groove Pre Columbian axe head circa Woodland Period. Teh axe head features a wonderfully and professionally crafted shaved stone construction that shows a bi headed axe head with a pounder on one side and a sharpened edge and pointed second side of the axe head. The condition of this Pre Columbian 3/4 groove axe head is well preserved with no obvious artificial damage to the axe head and shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this axe head is 5 3/4" x 2 7/8" x 2". The collective weight of this axe head is 2lb 2oz. This axe head was taken in Arizona.
