This is an original, rare Fred Harvey Navajo turquoise necklace circa 1920's. The necklace features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver and turquoise construction that shows round petite point Blue Gem turquoise cabochon set to an arching sterling silver bar with a link chain. The necklace is marked 'Sterling' on the back of the arching pendant. The condition of this Navajo necklace is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this necklace from clasp to clasp is 14 3/4" and the pendant measures 1 5/8" x 4 1/8". The collective weight of this necklace is 17.5g. This necklace was owned by Verna Postel (born 1903 - died in 1988) and bought in 1920; the necklace was than gifted in the 1960's.
