Featured in this lot is this early, first edition of, "Badges For Fire & Police Departments Catalogue No. 29" by Everson-Ross Company Incorporated in New York, 1910. Established in 1897, the Everson-Ross Company was a renowned American manufacturer specializing in badges, insignia, and uniform accessories for police and fire agencies throughout the United States. The company, located at 88 Chambers Street in New York City, achieved national renown for its high-quality products and comprehensive catalogs with a diverse range of badge designs, cap fronts, buttons, and insignia. The catalog includes detailed order instructions on page two, as well as a variety of officers badges, active and exempt pins, service badges, hat fronts, uniform buttons, and police officers badges throughout. The photographs of the various products are printed on glossy paper, with up to 24 items per page. In addition to the types listed in the catalog, Everson-Ross created custom order badges, medals, buttons, pins, and other items for conventions, fraternal organizations, schools, clubs, churches, and industrial applications. It shows a light blue paper cover and gold lettering reading, "Badges For Fire & Police Departments / Everson-Ross Co. Incorporated / 88 chambers St. New York / Catalog No. 29". It shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted.
