Included in this lot we have a original Joe Johnson graphite on paper sketch of a Texas pump jack. Joe Johnson was an American artist known for his sketches of oil jacks and drills. The art shows a desert landscape scene with a oil pump jack on the left and oil silos on the right. The fore ground of the piece shows a tree with desert plants and cloudy skies. The art is signed in the bottom left hand corner reading "Joe Johnson". The piece is set into a wood frame with a off white border around the art. The back of the frame shows a gallery tag. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 26 1/2" wide by 20 3/4" tall with the art measuring 16 1/2" wide by 10 1/2" tall.
