For your consideration are three studio portrait photos taken in Leadville, Colorado by various photographers from late 1880s to early 1900s. The first photo was taken by Grove & Helme at their studio in Leadville at 425 Harrison Street. It shows two young children, brother and sister Charles & Tulia Bonorand, in the studio posing for a photo. The boy is wearing a button shirt and holding a aht, while the sister is sat in a chair wearing a dress and a bow in her hair. The bottom of the photo is marked with gold gilt lettering reading, "Grove & Helme / Leadville, Colo.". The second photo was taken by John T. Needles in Leadville, Colorado. It shows a man, likely a cowboy, posing for a portrait photo as he looks towards the left of the viewer. He is wearing a white shirt and black vest with an overcoat. He sports short hair and a large mustache. The photo is marked on the bottom reading, "J. T. Needles / Leadville, Colo.". The third and final photo does not show a photographer mark or signature. It shows a man posing for a photo in a studio as he looks to the left of the viewer. He is wearing a white shirt, a vest and an overcoat with a pocket watch chain visible on his vest. He has short, slicked back hair and a large mustache. The photos show good condition overall with some wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted.
