Featured in this lot is this R-9 designated rarity Tombstone found Pony Saloon and Pony Billiard Room tokens circa 1880's and was displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. There are three tokens for the serious Tombstone Collector in this collection with two of them being different renditions of Pony Saloon tokens and one being a Pony Billiard Room token. The first Pony Saloon token stand out from the second for being identified with a heavier weight and a lack of a star in the center and constructed from brass. Each of the two tokens are marked on the front and back as follows: Pony Saloon J.H. Warrs Prop. Tombstone, Ariz.- Good For 12 1/2¢ in Trade (with the second token reading on the back as follows: Good For A Smile). The last token reads on the front and back as follows: Pony Billiard Room V.L. McCutchan Owner Tombstone, Arizona - Good for 10¢ In Trade. The collection of tokens comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Pony Saloon found across the street in Baptist Yard. The condition of this collection of Pony Saloon & Pony Billiard Room tokens is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition.
